MediFit Corporate Services is a leading provider of onsite fitness and wellness solutions. We currently have an opportunities for substitute health fitness specialists in Somer, NY. This position provides as-needed coverage in our fitness centers.

- This position is requisition 09-0255.
Specifically, in this role you will:
• Supervise and monitor exercising participants; provide personal training.
• Perform fitness assessments, determine exercise prescriptions and conduct first workouts for diverse populations, including, high risk members.
• Design, implement and evaluate incentive and health promotion programs.
• Create, implement, and evaluate specialty programs.
• Perform administrative tasks associated with facility operations.
• Instruct group exercise classes.
Qualified applicants will have a 4 year degree in a health/fitness field of study or a personal trainer certification such as ACSM, NASM, NSCA. CPR/AED and First Aid certifications are required. Excellent organizational and interpersonal/customer service skills.
